Adding Culture to the World Language Classroom with Current Events - Part 1

When time is constrained in the world language classroom, sadly, the first thing to get lost in the daily shuffle is the study of cultural elements. Using current events articles in the world language classroom is an easy way to add culture back in. In part 1 of this two part series, we will look at what current events articles are, how research supports their use, and how current events articles tie into curriculum standards.
