The grades you issue say as much about you as a teacher as they do your students. Do your “A” kids perform at an “A” level on state assessments? Do you take the time to verify that these grades truly reflect student comprehension? If you don’t, you could be setting yourself up for headaches come evaluation time. This course will introduce you to grading practices that are objective and evaluation based and will give you the background necessary to complete the next course in this series on self-evaluating your grading practices for accuracy and authenticity.
