Foundations of Math is a series of sessions, or courses, focused on mathematical content knowledge. It is appropriate for general and special educators. It will support teachers in examining mathematical procedures from a conceptual standpoint and increase sense-making for learners who struggle with methods reliant on memorization or procedure. In this course, Form of a Number, you will explore the idea that you can represent a mathematical quantity in many ways, which allows flexibility in modeling, calculating, and problem-solving.
